What’s on this page?

Most of the information needed to support children’s development can be found on the main pages

But sometimes children have an identified difficulty such as autism, or needs that are not addressed by simple strategies. These needs are for additional support, which means families and professionals using more complex approaches to help children learn and develop.

This page has information on some of these. Most of this is training or other information for professionals such as early years practitioners, but parents might find them useful too. If in doubt, please use the Just Ask helpline – it is there to help!
